To me, rice is the ultimate side dish. It supplements all sort of pot or skillet dishes. Since it contains much more complex carbohydrates than bread, it definitely is a more healthy choice for your meals too.

Here are the steps for my easy rice recipe..

I used 2 tablespoons of clotted cream but you can use cream as well or only butter if you don’t like it.

Easy Rice Recipe 2Melt the butter in a deep pot.

Scorch the rice with butter until transparent.

Easy Rice Recipe 4Add clotted cream and scorch until combines.

Easy Rice Recipe 5Pour the meat stock..

Start boiling at high temperature until you see the bubbles.
Then turn the heat down and keep boiling for another 5 minutes. After 5 minutes turn the heat off and leave the pot lid closed for 15 minutes to brew before serving.
